This premier resale shop in the heart of downtown Stillwater takes donations of clothing, furniture and household goods and sells them to the public. Located at 819 S. Main, the venture has been so successful that in 2010, for the first time ever, the shop grossed over a quarter of a million dollars.
Patients at Judith Karman Hospice never receive a bill for services that we provide, but Medicare reimbursement and private insurance do not cover the entire cost of patient care. To compensate, in 1994, the hospice used a $15,000 gift of stock to finance the opening of Karman Korner Resale Shop.
Karman Korner doesn’t just provide financing to take care of hospice patients. When other agencies in the community have clients who need things from our store, they send them to the shop to acquire some of the goods they need. Over the years, Karman Korner has helped hundreds of victims of house fires, domestic violence and homelessness.
Karman Korner is open Tuesday thru Friday from 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
